I use two types of BREATHWORK in my studio, seated and lying. They both are amazing vehicles for transformation, in their own rights.
Both the seated and lying breathwork dissolve tension, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, incomplete past experiences, sadness, shame, worry, confusion, fear, frustration, anger, and restlessness, it also accelerates healing, boosts the immune system, reduces pain, brings you into the present moment, improves intuition, allows you to connect deeper, connects you to your heart so you become more gentle, loving, compassionate, kind, generous, appreciative, and much, MUCH MORE!!
The seated breathwork is done sitting in a chair, it’s shorter, you breathe through the nose, with your feet in contact with the ground, so it is set up as a more grounded, smoother breathwork.
The lying breathwork does have the potential to go deeper, as you are laying down horizontally, breathing through your mouth, for a lot longer duration.
The seated version can be used like a scalpel to cut out specific issues, while the lying breathwork gives the client what they need, not what they want. I have found they are both incredible transformation techniques for me and my clients.
